I finished my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at TU Delft this year, and now I’m spending a full year on Delft Hyperloop as Public Relations & Events Manager.
Before this, I worked as an event manager at Rode Rozen & Tortillas, a catering company, where I led teams of all sizes. That taught me that a good event comes down to preparation: a clear plan, the right people in the right place, and a backup for when something goes wrong.
At Delft Hyperloop, my job is to make sure people actually see what 45 students are building in the Dream Hall. That means our social media and newsletter, contact with the press, and events like Delft Hyperloop Day and the Design Reveal. I also work closely with our partners, because without them there would be no pod.
I use AI to work smarter. This year I’m building a general AI social media manager that helps plan and write posts, so we can show more of what happens in the Dream Hall.
My goal for this year: get more people excited about hyperloop than ever before, and be in Zürich with the whole team next July for the European Hyperloop Week.
